Underwater

There exists this meditative state

The noise and activity of above

Completely silenced

Floating to the surface are bubbles

And the sound of water reflected in my ears

It brings me tranquil and peace

No thoughts reach the submerged depths

My mind and body in synchrony on one goal

Breathing control

The weightlessness feeling without panic

Temporarily drowning life’s realities

With a blank mind
