Childhood In Adulthood - Poem

I often take life seriously

Forgetting the carefree child inside of me

The boy longing to be free

Be curious and explore the world

Feel everything, and nothing at all

Feeling the radiant sun on my face

Illuminating an untouched path in the future

Re-igniting the long suppressed child mind

Is an uphill battle against reality

The distant ideals ingrained by society

Adults cannot have an inner child voice

Only the never ending debt of responsibilities and stress

Thoughts a young mind is innocent to
