The First Time I Drank - Poem

Bogged down by particles unseen by the human eye

Never experienced such surrealness

A liquid with control

Inducing pain in my command center

Spreading chaos through my nerves of nausea

Even twelve hours on as night merges into morning

Believed minor amount turned to a waterfall of poison

A feeling conscious command cannot override

Only fading with time

Expulsed from my bloodstream

Then fully functional once again
